1. Create a pin for the brooch by hammering out a piece of copper wire.
One end should be flattened to curl around the brooch.
3. Hammer and rotate the other end of the pin to make a sharp point
5. Curl penannular shape round wooden former
(with pin already on penannular)

2. Curl the flattened end of the pin round a former
4. Put pin loop endround wire for penannular loop
Flatten both ends of pennanular loop wire to hold pin on.
6. Finish off ends of penannular in decorative fashion.
